DomusVi was born more than forty years ago from Yves Journel’s vision: our societies would have to address a major challenge—the aging population. From the early 1980s, he committed himself to creating residences for seniors with a strong conviction: to offer support that is professional, caring, and profoundly human.
Over the decades, DomusVi has grown while remaining true to this founding vision:
- respecting the uniqueness of each individual,
- supporting families,
- offering a high standard of living and care,
and placing humanity at the heart of its practices.
This philosophy has shaped a group now present in several countries, driven by the same mission: to support vulnerable seniors with dignity, closeness, and compassion.
Since its inception, DomusVi has moved forward with a simple idea:
caring is a collective, sustainable, and profoundly human commitment.
