The aim is to promote the physical and psychic effort and to develop the sociability of the residents of the DomusVi group in Madrid through the specific program. It has been developed with more than fifty people and benefits from the know-how and expertise of the sports coaches of the legendary football club of Madrid. It will also allow visits to the Stadium and other socio-cultural activities related to the history of Real Madrid. The program is based on lifestyle habits to stay healthy in order to contribute to the prevention of chronic-degenerative diseases.
Enrique Sánchez, Executive Vice President of the Real Madrid Foundation, Josefina Fernandez, Ceo of DomusVi Spain, and Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid FC, have ratified the fifth consecutive season, the collaboration agreement between the two entities, which has already benefited more than 200 residents over 65 years old.
Emilio Butragueño explained that "we want to take care of our heritage, and it is our elders who started to build this story, we must take care of them now". On this occasion, Josefina Fernández declared that "I am proud of this great and unique program which combines both socio-cultural activities and physical exercises in order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of our elderly residents ".
